At the age of 20, co-founded Party Bar Service — a mobile bar catering team providing beverages and bartending services for corporate events, festivals, and private parties. Among clients were the startup MSQRD (later acquired by Facebook), EPAM, and major Belarusian festivals.
Overview / Story
The project operated from 2014 to 2016 and became one of the first professional bar catering services in Belarus. The team provided full beverage service for events of any scale — from small corporate gatherings to large open-air festivals. Work was done both directly with clients and through catering and event-agency partners.
Problem
Event organizers needed a reliable bar service partner who could handle logistics, staffing, and beverage quality without risk. The market lacked service standards and a culture of professional mobile bars.
Solution
Party Bar Service introduced a full “bar-as-a-service” model: procurement, delivery, equipment, trained staff, and on-site operations. The focus on client service, transparent pricing, and persistent yet ethical B2B sales quickly built trust and repeat business.
Technologies & Operations
Operational checklists and service standards; templates for budgets and contracts; streamlined logistics from warehouse to venue; and basic CRM tables for leads and repeat clients.
(Most workflows were offline — no specialized SaaS tools were used at that time.)
Market & Context
Between 2014 and 2016, the Belarusian event-services market was still emerging. Bar catering was a niche segment with little competition, providing an opportunity to set service standards and introduce professional B2B practices.
Competitive Advantage
- Full end-to-end service with single accountability.
- Structured operations (checklists, service standards, venue briefs).
- Proven B2B reliability and SLA discipline for time and quality.
- Transparent cost structure and open estimates.
Sales & Marketing
Direct and referral-based B2B sales, partnerships with catering and event agencies, participation in industry events, and word-of-mouth marketing. Pilot events served as proofs of concept that led to long-term cooperation.
Role
Co-founder of the project. Responsibilities included sales, account management, design and branding, contract execution, partnerships, legal support, and marketing.
Results
Over 30 events delivered in two years; two long-term partnerships established; strong client feedback including MSQRD and EPAM. The project gained a reputation as a reliable, client-oriented bar-service provider and collaborated with major festival venues in Belarus.
The project ended for personal reasons: one co-founder relocated to Moscow, the other to Warsaw. Party Bar Service remained remembered by clients as a reliable and people-focused brand. The experience became a foundation for later entrepreneurial ventures.
