Flacon startup studio faced a common startup challenge — dozens of projects at different stages, overlapping processes, and no single source of truth. The solution was a unified management system built in Notion, tailored to the studio’s structure and workflows.
Overview / Story
Flacon is a startup studio led by Nikolay Matushevsky, managing multiple internal and external products at various stages of development. As the portfolio grew, project management became fragmented: each team maintained its own spreadsheets and tools, making it hard to see the full picture or coordinate priorities.
Problem
- Disconnected data and tools across teams.
- No central system for decision-making.
- Difficult to track project stages, owners, and priorities.
- Duplicated tasks and lack of focus between teams.

- Designed an organization-wide management architecture using Notion.
- Selected and implemented frameworks: OKR, Kanban, Project Lifecycle, and Team Dashboard.
- Connected databases for projects, tasks, members, and statuses.
- Built a unified workspace with flexible access levels and automated views.
- Delivered the system and trained the company’s project manager for in-house ownership.
