Case: MVP Application for Stylists and Users to Book Shopping Assistance
Client
Nikolai Matushevsky — founder and CEO of the startup factory Flacon, founder of Flacon Design Factory, Moscow.
The project: Looking — a platform connecting stylists with people seeking personal style guidance, curated outfits, and shopping escort services.
Objective
Develop a functional MVP to validate the core business hypothesis:
users are ready to purchase styling services, guided shopping, and ready-made looks via an application, and stylists are willing to publish their work and accept bookings.
Key product requirements:
  • Lookbook/catalog of outfits (in format similar to Instagram)
  • Stylist discovery via feed and map
  • Booking shopping assistance (including free sessions)
  • Push-based meeting confirmation flow
  • Dual-role user experience (Stylist / End User)
Result
A functional MVP in PWA format was developed and launched. It is accessible instantly via browser and installable on any device.
The product is fully prepared for onboarding first real users and testing metrics including retention, demand, and scalability.

  • Stylist profile with status, schedule, social links, preferred brands, and portfolio
  • User booking history and notification settings
